The colored version of the other day's piece. I've been experimenting with layer settings and trying to color on top of everything else. What's working for me now is the background b/w image on the bottom, defining colored light source on overlay, coloring on overlay, then mixing and getting "painterly" on multiply. And there's my layer setup from bottom to top. Well, at least for this guy.
Visited a new site about digital painting here. I've learned more in 25 minutes than I have in a while. Seriously awesome techniques.
